One category, ten ranks

Daily Tens is a trivia round built around a ranked list. The board shows a category, such as largest US states or most populous countries. You type a name. If that name is in the top 10, it lands in its real rank instead of the next empty row.

A wrong name costs one of five hearts. The round ends when the board is full or the hearts run out. The daily list changes at midnight in New York, and the same date always uses the same list.

Read the ranking rule before you guess. The info button names the metric and the source, which is what separates a famous answer from a top-10 answer. The how to play guide walks through a full round. The Daily Tens game page covers the free online rules.

Questions

What is Daily Tens?

Daily Tens is a ranked trivia game. Each day has one category, and you name as many of its top 10 entries as you can. A correct guess appears in its real rank. Five misses end the round.

Is the Daily Tens game online free?

Yes. Today's puzzle, the archive, and unlimited practice are free in the browser. There is no account and no download.

Where can I see Daily Tens answers today?

Today's ranked list is on the answers today page. Yesterday's list is on the yesterday page. Older lists sit under past games.

What is Daily Tens unlimited?

Unlimited is a practice mode. It uses a separate set of top 10 lists, so a practice round does not spoil the daily puzzle, and you can start a new round whenever you want.
